What is AuroThread and where is the company based?
AuroThread is a brand of Auro Technology Limited, a biotechnology enterprise based in Shijiazhuang, China. We specialize in the research, production and wholesale supply of aesthetic medical consumables including PDO/PCL/PLLA threads, dermal fillers, skin boosters, and microneedling devices. Our products are exported to 30+ countries including the US, UK, Germany, and Japan.

What products does AuroThread offer?

Do you sell to individual consumers or only B2B?
We are a B2B wholesale supplier serving licensed medical professionals, aesthetic clinics, medical distributors, and brand owners. We do not sell directly to individual consumers. Minimum order quantities apply per product line.
PDO Thread Products
What is the difference between PDO, PCL, and PLLA threads?
PDO (Polydioxanone) threads last 6-9 months, providing immediate mechanical lifting with moderate collagen stimulation. PCL (Polycaprolactone) threads last 12-18 months with sustained bio-stimulation and stronger structural support. PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) threads last 18-24 months and work primarily through long-term collagen regeneration. Compare thread types
How do I choose the right PDO thread type for my patient?
Mono threads — Fine lines, general skin tightening, pore refinement (superficial dermis).
Cog/Barbed threads — Jawline definition, cheek lifting, brow elevation (SMAS anchoring).
Screw/Spiral threads — Mid-face volume restoration, nasolabial folds.
Tornado threads — Nose bridge augmentation, targeted volume.

What gauge and length options do you supply?
We supply 26G, 27G, 29G, and 30G needles in lengths from 25mm to 90mm across all thread types. Mono threads typically use 29-30G; Cog threads use 18-19G; Screw threads use 27-29G. Custom gauge and length are available for OEM orders. Browse PDO thread options
What is the shelf life and storage requirement for PDO threads?
2 years from the manufacturing date. Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from direct sunlight and humidity. Do not freeze. Keep in original sealed packaging until use. Each package includes an expiration date and lot number.
Are PDO threads safe? What about complications?
PDO has been used in surgical sutures for decades with an excellent safety profile. When administered by a trained professional, PDO thread lifts are minimally invasive with low complication rates. Common temporary effects include mild swelling and bruising (24-72h). Our threads use USP Class VI biocompatible material and undergo EO sterilization. Read our PDO thread safety guide
Dermal Fillers
What types of dermal fillers do you offer?
We supply: Auro Secret HA (cross-linked hyaluronic acid) for general volume and wrinkle correction; Auro Secret Plus HA (higher-density cross-linked HA) for deep tissue support; PLLA Filler for long-term collagen stimulation; and CAHA (calcium hydroxylapatite) for structural bone-level contouring. What is the difference between Auro Secret and Auro Secret Plus?
Auro Secret is a standard cross-linked HA filler ideal for lips, fine lines, and moderate volume — lasts 6-9 months. Auro Secret Plus has higher cross-linking density for deeper structural support (cheeks, jawline, chin) with 9-12 month duration.
How do PLLA and CAHA fillers differ from HA fillers?
HA fillers provide immediate volume that can be dissolved with hyaluronidase (reversible). PLLA fillers stimulate your own collagen production over 3-6 months for results lasting 18-24 months (non-reversible). What is the minimum order quantity for dermal fillers?

How many skin booster sessions are needed?
An initial course of 3-4 sessions spaced 3-4 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. After the initial course, maintenance treatments every 6-12 months help sustain hydration and regenerative effects.
Can skin boosters be combined with microneedling?
Yes, this is a highly effective combination. Microneedling at 0.5mm creates micro-channels that enhance booster absorption by up to 300%. What depth should I use for different skin concerns?
Fine lines and glow: 0.25-0.5mm. Pore refinement and texture: 0.5-1.0mm. Acne scars: 1.0-1.5mm. Stretch marks: 1.5-2.0mm. Always start conservative and adjust based on individual skin thickness.
How often should microneedling cartridges be replaced?
All AuroThread microneedling cartridges are single-use and disposable. Each cartridge should be used for one patient only then discarded. Reusing cartridges compromises sterility and needle sharpness.

What OEM/ODM services do you provide?
Full end-to-end customization: custom packaging (inner blister packs, outer retail boxes), logo printing/engraving on products, custom needle gauge and thread length, multi-language IFU and labeling, regulatory document support. What is the OEM process and timeline?
Consultation (1-3 days) → Design & Prototyping (3-7 days) → Sample Production (3-5 days) → Sample Shipping & Approval (5-7 days) → Mass Production (15-25 days) → Quality Control (3-5 days) → Shipping (7-15 days). Total: approximately 5-8 weeks.
Can I use my own packaging designs?
Yes. Submit your artwork in AI, PDF, or PSD format and our design team adapts it to production specifications. We also offer in-house packaging design services if you need creative support — including box structure design, color palette selection, and multi-language layout.
Do you offer starter/small-batch OEM for new brands?
Yes. We have Starter Packages with reduced MOQs designed for clinics and startups testing their own branded products. These packages allow you to launch with 50-200 units per SKU while maintaining competitive pricing. Inquire about starter OEM
Is my OEM brand information confidential?
Absolutely. All partnerships are covered by Non-Disclosure Agreements. Your proprietary formulations, brand designs, supplier relationships, and client data are never shared. We do not sell competing products under our own brand in your exclusive territory.

How do I place an order?

What payment methods do you accept?
T/T bank transfer (preferred), Western Union, and L/C (Letter of Credit) for orders above $10,000. Standard payment terms: 30-50% deposit to confirm the order, balance before shipment. Custom terms available for established partners.
How long does international shipping take?
Express (DHL/UPS/FedEx): 3-7 business days. Air freight: 7-10 business days. Sea freight: 25-35 days for bulk orders. Delivery times vary by destination country customs clearance. Tracking numbers are provided for all shipments.
Do you provide samples before bulk orders?
Yes. Sample orders are available for most products. Sample cost varies by product. Shipping costs are borne by the buyer. Sample fees are often credited toward your first bulk order.

Certifications & Quality Assurance
What certifications do AuroThread products carry?
CE Mark certification (EU Medical Device Regulation compliance), ISO 13485 Quality Management System for medical devices, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification. All products use USP Class VI biocompatible materials and undergo rigorous in-house and third-party quality testing before release.
How are your products sterilized?
All products undergo Ethylene Oxide (EO) gas sterilization or Electron Beam sterilization depending on product type. PDO threads are nitrogen-packed to prevent moisture damage. Each batch includes sterilization indicators and lot numbers for full traceability.
Can you provide documentation for regulatory registration in my country?
Yes, we provide a complete documentation package including: CE certificates, ISO 13485 certificates, sterilization validation reports, biocompatibility test reports (ISO 10993), Material Safety Data Sheets, Certificate of Origin, and Certificate of Free Sale where applicable. What is your return and exchange policy?
Returns accepted within 15 days and exchanges within 180 days for verified manufacturing defects. Claims must include photographic evidence and the lot number from the product packaging. We stand behind our products with a 100% quality guarantee. Contact support
